Epipremnum Amplissimum Aurea Variegata (Excellent Variegation)
Epipremnum Amplissimum Aurea Variegata is a tropical climbing aroid native to Southeast Asia and a member of the same genus as Epipremnum aureum. Unlike the broader-leafed pothos varieties, this species is prized for its long, elegant foliage and distinctive coloration. The lance-shaped leaves can reach up to three feet in length and about four inches in width when grown in ideal conditions with vertical support. Mature foliage becomes increasingly elongated and dramatic, especially when the plant is trained onto a moss pole or tree as an epiphyte.
Coloration ranges from rich green to silvery-blue tones with strong variegation, and the patterning tends to be stable. Its narrow leaf profile gives it a refined, almost strap-like appearance compared to typical pothos. Epipremnum amplissimum is very easy to grow. It thrives in bright, indirect light, adapts well to indoor environments, and responds strongly to climbing support by producing larger, more mature leaves. Its combination of size, shape, and color makes it a standout tropical vine for collectors and interior plantings alike. Outdoors 10a to 12b
