Royal Cup Of Gold Vine (solandra maxima varigata)

HUGE cup shaped yellow flowers with 5 evenly spaced maroon stripes burst from branch tips amidst pale green and white margined and splotched leaves. The spectacular flowers open to almost 6 inches wide and 7 to 8 inches long in a breath-taking display during the spring. The variegated foliage springs from long, meandering branches that are easily trimmed to form a well behaved shrub. What a wonderful plant for the urban landscape or patio with a trellis.
