Matte green, slightly curved leaves 2 to 4 feet long, straight and rigid, end in a sharp 2 inch spine and radiate around the stem. Spring and summer bring dense panicles of maroon flower buds the open to a bold display of creamy white bell-shaped blooms. Typically maturing to 10 feet tall, Torreyi has been known to reach 20 feet tall at times. Considered a tree-like yucca it will branch quite readily.
